The recent delay in the release of the BEA Outdoor Recreation data raises concerns about the future of outdoor recreation advocacy, as it has been a crucial tool for supporting public lands.

Having written about this a few times (definitely one of the "outdoor data nerds" mentioned), I've been wondering where this data is as well. I'm pessimistic, it might just be another casualty of seemingly innumerable cuts in the gov.
